Max Mortensen, PhD

SVP Operations and Chief Compliance Officer

Dr. Max Mortensen has over 20 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.  At HyperMed, Dr. Mortensen is Senior VP of Operations and Chief Compliance Officer.

Prior to joining HyperMed he held VP level positions in Quality Systems and Clinical and Regulatory Affairs.  He has a diverse background including senior technical and management positions in research, development, engineering, manufacturing, distribution and supply chain operations.  Dr. Mortensen has a proven track record contributing in start-up companies as well as large, established market leaders operating in a global business environment. Among other prior positions, he was with Wright Medical where he was VP of Quality, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs and Micrport Orthopedics where he was VP of Operations.  He is an inventor with several patents and is the author of numerous journal publications. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Southern California and a B.S. in Chemistry from Brigham Young University.
